Purtroppo è quasi una settimana che non pubblico nulla, perchè come al solito la Telecom riesce a creare problemi anche a chi non è un loro cliente. Evito di entrare nei dettagli perchè sono ancora inviperita per tutti i problemi che mi ha creato!
Passo quindi a parlarvi del soggetto di questo post, Orly Rock Solid, il secondo esemplare della Mineral FX che vi presento, anche questo omaggio di Ladybird House. (Il primo è stato Rococo-a-gogo, il viola della collezione)
Si tratta di un antracite glitter, a prima vista piuttosto simile a tanti altri smalti, come ad esempio Steel Me della collezione Metallics di Essence (2010). La particolarità di questo colore infatti è rivelata solo con particolari condizioni di luce, come nella foto qui sopra. Se colpito infatti da una luce diretta piuttosto forte, questo smalto si illumina di una serie di microglitter multicolore, che aggiungono un leggero effetto shimmer al finish.
E’ difficile purtroppo riuscire a cogliere questa particolarità con la macchina fotografica, se non sulla boccetta.
Passando alla qualità non ci si discosta da quello che vi avevo già detto per Rococo-a-gogo. Il tappo in gomma è formidabile, così come il pennellino, di una grandezza ed una rigidità adatte ad una stesura perfetta anche su unghie corte. L’asciugatura è molto rapida, quindi richiede un’applicazione piuttosto veloce, quindi adatta a chi già se la cava con smalti & co.
Unica pecca è la durata, perchè come molti smalti glitter tende a rovinarsi presto alle estremità, soprattutto se si sottopongono le mani a stress (nel mio caso il detersivo per piatti, lavorando in un bar).
